Annual Maintenance Contract.

An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with Workflare ensures that your websites, applications, and infrastructure receive the dedicated attention they need to stay secure, performant, and up-to-date.

1. Scope of AMC Services

An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with Workflare is an optional add-on service commencing after our complimentary 3-month post-launch warranty period. Our AMC is designed to provide peace of mind by handling the technical complexities of modern web environments.

  • Security Updates: Regular patching of CMS cores, plugins, and server dependencies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Performance Optimization: Monthly audits to ensure fast loading times and efficient resource utilization.
  • Managed Backups: Automated backups with off-site storage to ensure data recovery in case of emergencies.
  • Minor Tweaks: Up to 2 hours of developer time per month for small content updates or CSS adjustments.

2. Support Tiers & Pricing Percentages

We offer flexible plans calculated as a percentage of the Net Payable project cost:

  • Standard (5% of Net Payable): Ideal for static sites and small business pages. Includes Monthly backups and standard email support.
  • Professional (10% of Net Payable - Recommended): Best for dynamic web apps. Includes Weekly backups, priority Zulip chat support, and uptime monitoring via Uptime Kuma.
  • Enterprise (15% of Net Payable): Custom solutions for high-traffic infrastructure. Includes Daily backups, in-app support for faster incident response, dedicated account management, and complete monitoring via Grafana.

3. Exclusions

To maintain clarity, the following are generally not covered under a standard AMC:

  • New Feature Development: Building completely new modules or pages outside the original project scope.
  • Major Redesigns: Significant changes to the UI/UX or brand identity.
  • Third-Party Costs: Subscription fees for external tools, premium plugins, or hosting provider invoices.

4. Renewal and Adjustments

AMC agreements are valid for 12 months and invoiced at the beginning of each contract year (30 days prior to expiry). As noted in our Terms of Service, AMC fees are subject to a 5% annual compounding adjustment to account for infrastructure costs and inflation.
